Ignition circuits
Step 24 :
- R14 (1k ohm) located upper right between R22 and R64.
- R64 (1k ohm) located upper right between R14 and BDM.
- R65 (1k ohm) located upper right to the right of U5.
- R15 (470 ohm) located upper right to the right of U5 and above R65.
- JP1 (3 pin 0.100" header strip) for selecting inverted or non-inverted input.
- JP2 (3 pin 0.100" header strip) for selecting inverted or non-inverted output.
- JP7 (wire jumper) Install a wire jumper between these pads for normal operation.
- JP8 (wire jumper) Install a wire jumper between these pads for normal operation.
- U5 (CD74AC86E XOR Gate)
I recommend using an IC socket to install U5 that way if you need to replace the XOR you will be able to without de-soldering/re-soldering.
JP7 and JP8 are there if someone wants to use MCU pins other than Port T2 (JP7) and Port T3 (JP8) with the XOR I/O circuits or to use another output circuit.
The exclusive-OR gate specified in the Bill of Materials is ONLY to be used as logic level outputs to the logic level inputs on EDIS/DIS modules!
Fuel circuit
Step 25 :
- R53 (2.4k ohm) located bottom lower right between D30 and D40.
- R54 (1k ohm) located bottom lower right below R8.
- R63 (100k ohm) located bottom lower right below D1.
- D30 (LED Red) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D31 (1N4148) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the left edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
FAN circuit
Step 26 :
- R72 (2.4k ohm)
- R74 (1k ohm)
- R73 (100k ohm)
- D39 (LED Red) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D40 (1N4148) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Accessory circuit
Step 27 :
- R75 (2.4k ohm)
- R77 (1k ohm)
- R76 (100k ohm)
- D41 (LED Red) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D42 (1N4148) direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injection circuits
Only install the same number of injection circuits as the number of injectors you are wanting to drive.
Injector 1
Step 31 :
- R47 (2.4k ohm)
- R41 (1k ohm)
- R35 (100k ohm)
- D18 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D24 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 2
Step 32 :
- R48 (2.4k ohm)
- R42 (1k ohm)
- R36 (100k ohm)
- D19 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D25 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 3
Step 33 :
- R49 (2.4k ohm)
- R43 (1k ohm)
- R37 (100k ohm)
- D20 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D26 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 4
Step 34 :
- R50 (2.4k ohm)
- R44 (1k ohm)
- R38 (100k ohm)
- D21 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D27 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the bottom edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 5
Step 35 :
- R51 (2.4k ohm)
- R45 (1k ohm)
- R39 (100k ohm)
- D22 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D28 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 6
Step 36 :
- R52 (2.4k ohm)
- R46 (1k ohm)
- R40 (100k ohm)
- D23 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D29 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 7
Step 37 :
- R66 (2.4k ohm)
- R70 (1k ohm)
- R68 (100k ohm)
- D35 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D37 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
Injector 8
Step 38 :
- R67 (2.4k ohm)
- R71 (1k ohm)
- R69 (100k ohm)
- D36 (LED Red) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the board. This is indicated by the short lead of the LED.
- D38 (1N4148) Direction dependant, orient the K lead to the top edge of the PCB. This is indicated by the white line.
